Laurent Robinson is a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys.

Laurent was born on May 20, 1985 in Fort Lewis, WA.

Laurent played high school football at Rockledge High in Florida where he helped take his team to back-to-back state championships in 2001 and 2002. His senior year he was an All-Space Coast First-Team pick and a member of the conference all-star team.

Laurent went on to play college football at Illinois State. He broke multiple school records by accumulating 192 career receptions and 3,007 yards with 29 touchdowns. As a junior (in 2005), Laurent was First-team All-Gateway with 86 receptions for 1465 yards and a 17-yard average for 12 touchdowns. He was also a finalist for the Walter Payton Award, given to the top offensive player in NCAA Division I-AA. Laurent was a First-team All-Gateway selection again in 2006 as a senior.

Laurent was a 3rd round pick (11th overall) by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2007 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he played in 15 games (with six starts) and recorded 37 receptions for 437 yards.

On April 8, 2009 the St. Louis Rams traded for Laurent. He was their starter in 2009 until fracturing his fibula in September, which placed him on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.

Laurent was a starter for the Rams in 2009 until he fractured his fibula on September 28, 2009. He was placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the 2009 NFL Season. He signed with the San Diego Chargers on August 3, 2011 but was released.

On September 20th, 2011 Laurent was signed to the Dallas Cowboys where he currently plays.
